Tallahassee police have found the answer to the question "where's the beef?"
A burglary at Stars Meat Market at 824 Tharpe Street initially had the owners worried. $150 worth of their meat was gone, but TPD officers stepped in and arrested a suspect.
His name is Jerry Byrd, and he's been charged with burglary of a structure, criminal mischief and petty theft. Officers took the meat from the suspect.
No word on whether it's being kept as evidence or whether it was returned to the shop.
