Wakulla County's Chamber of Commerce is starting up a campaign to encourage locals to keep their spending money in Wakulla County.
The Chamber kicked off its "Shop Local Wakulla" campaign with a business trade show in Crawfordville Tuesday night.
Several Wakulla County businesses set up booths and tents showcasing their goods and services.
The "Shop Local Wakulla" campaign is a year long effort to help boost Wakulla County's economy.
"A lot of people don't even realize what their community offers and this is a good way to share that," says Ronald Crum who is the owner of Crum's Minimall and set up a booth at the event.
The trade show also featured a "taste of Wakulla" with local restaurants giving folks a sample of their favorite dishes.

Let's do the right thing for Wakulla and only shop at local businesses, like our local Wal-Mart.
I want a discount card, but couldn't come to the event last night. How can I get one?
