Wildlife Flying into Downtown Tallahassee

St. Francis Wildlife Association is hosting it's fourth annual "Wildlife Baby Shower".

People are dropping off towels, blankets and monetary donations to help more than 3,000 animals who have been rescued and rehabilitated each year.

Members of the Wildlife Association are on hand to give people a few tips on what to do if you find an abandoned animal and how to avoid injuring these creatures.

Sandy Beck is Education Director and says, "Something that everyone can do is keep a trash bag in the car and not throw anything out of the car window to attract wildlife to the side of the road".

Beck says springtime is when many baby animals are abandoned.
