On Wednesday, October 28th, Lincoln High School students and faculty dressed up like rock stars. Lunch time turned into a concert as a student run band played, as well as a teacher run band, called Weapons of Mass Instruction.
"I think it's pretty cool. I think they look at it like oh, they're real people outside of the classroom and that they have other interests. It just kind of shows us that they aren't as old as what everybody makes us out to be," said Kathy Tyree, a Lincoln teacher and organizer.
The event is part of National Red Ribbon week. All the schools in Leon County have been doing different things to celebrate being drug-free. Red Ribbon Week is one of the oldest and largest drug prevention campaigns in the country.
