A local cemetery that has been treated as a garbage dump will soon be in tip-top shape thanks to the help of volunteers.

Volunteers in Madison are organizing a group-clean up day, Saturday November 14th to revamp the Pallbearers Cemetery in Greenville, Florida.

Some of the gravestones are barely visible because of plant growth and trash.

There are already a few volunteers but organizers say they need as much help as they can get.

WCTV - Thank you so much for keeping this story alive. My husband and I were in the cemetery to do some preliminary cleanup today and we trimmed some bushes so that we could get the trash out. We found 2 babies graves side by side. They both had the same last name and appeared to be little brothers. The last one died in 1989. I am going to sleep better tonight knowing that the final resting place of these two little boys are not covered with trash.
