Three people are under arrest tonight, charged with murdering a local woman one week ago, then trying to cover up the crime.
And while authorities aren't sure why the victim was murdered, they say they are certain they know who killed her.
The Lowndes County Sheriff's Office says three people killed a 30-year-old woman, whose name has not yet been released, here in this remote cemetery back on April 9.
Thirty-nine-year-old Beverly Barber is in jail, along with 25-year-old Joel Lindsey and 30-year-old Willie Nelms, Junior.
"We've got to try and build a motive, our people are working today to try and figure out the motive through interviews with suspects, who we've arrested and we'll work this like any other homicide case."
"Investigators say the victim was buried under a pile of leaves in the back corner. Now because of this grave, they've charged the suspects not only with murder, but concealing a death as well."
One of the suspects actually reported the murder to the Berrien County Sheriff's Office, saying the killing took place in Berrien County, and the body had been transported to Lowndes County to be disposed.
"The reason the case is now a Lowndes County case, is because now we believe and are pretty certain, that the actual murder occurred in Lowndes County."
And investigators hope an autopsy on the victim might shed more light as to why and how she was murdered.
The victim’s name has not been released publicly as investigators are still notifying the woman's family.
Right now, the suspects are in the Lowndes County jail, and they will remain there until Monday, when they get their first appearance before a judge, but because of the nature of the crime, the suspects will be kept in jail until they arraigned in superior court.
