The following is a press release from the Perry Police Department:

November 3, 2009

The Perry Police Department with the assistance of the North Florida Fugitive Taskforce apprehended a violent fugitive in Perry, Florida. Breon Trevor Glenn was wanted by the Jacksonville (FL) Sheriff’s Office on charges of Felony Murder, Attempted Armed Robbery, Aggravated Battery and Possession of a Firearm by an Adjudicated Delinquent.

Glenn was indentified as a person of interest on an unrelated crime that was being investigated by the Perry Police Department. During the investigation and investigators determined Glenn’s history and wanted status and as soon as the warrant was obtained by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, Glenn was located at a residence located in the City limits of Perry. He was arrested without incident and is currently incarcerated at the Taylor County Jail, awaiting transportation to Jacksonville, Florida.

The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force Tallahassee Division, is comprised of Deputy U.S. Marshals and full time sworn officers from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office, Leon County Sheriff’s Office, Leon County State Attorney’s Office, Perry Police Department, Tallahassee Police Department, and the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office. These officers are sworn in as Special Deputy U.S. Marshals and have the authority to pursue violent fugitives wanted by their respective agencies anywhere within the United States of America.
