It's graduation day at Florida Fish Wildlife Conservation Commission.
Friends, family and co-workers join the dogs and their handlers on the steps of the Capitol as they earn their certification.
The dogs specialize in finding people and evidence in wilderness areas and on the water. Officers say the dogs are an invaluable part of their team.
"She goes right to where it is, it would take another officer or ten officers in a line search, it could take a day to find things, it's amazing the amount of time they save," said Tom Hill, graduating officer.
The dogs and their handlers have gone through twelve weeks of intense training to be FWC certified.
