"I'm Alice! I've been to Wonderland."
And she brought Wonderland to more than 1,000 students from all over the Big Bend.

The Bits N' Pieces puppet Theater is based out of Tampa Florida but they take their overgrown creations all over the world to entertain children and grown-ups alike.

But the puppeteers say performing for the younger audiences is always more fun.

"They're right with you. So if it's something scary, well not scary but exciting, they're very excited. When it's something sad and it gets so quiet you could hear a pin drop, they're with you all the way and I love that," said Holly Rubin, the Bits 'N Pieces Creator.

Handling the nine-foot tall characters is quite a task, and only two performers take on all of the different characters.

"We do about a week and a half to two weeks of rehearsal. It's just strapped to the inside of you so you have a lot of control, it's rigged to your body. Then your arms are inside and you control the mouth," said Joey Thibodeaux, Bits 'N Pieces Performer.

But the performance isn't just for entertainment. Every show has a message. While the kids are laughing, they are also learning, a perfect way to experience, Alice in Wonderland.

For the first time in Madison, the Bits'N Pieces performers will be holding a show for the public. The special performance is scheduled for Saturday November 7, at 2:30 in the afternoon, at the Van Priest Auditorium on the North Florida Community College campus.
