One man is behind bars after an off duty police officer catches him in the act.

The following is a press release from the Tallahassee Police Department:

On Saturday, November 7, around 2:00 a.m. TPD responded to the 3500 block of Toucan Drive. An off duty FAMU police officer observed a man, later identified as 54-year-old David Sampson, enter two parked vehicles (one of the vehicles belonged to the officer).

The officer phoned police and provided a description of the suspect. A short time later, Tallahassee Police Officer Robert Kelly located Sampson a short distance away.

Sampson was positively identified and several items including plastic jewelry, keys, several sets of hair trimmers, and a pair of female sunglasses were found in his possession.

Sampson was arrested without incident.

I agree with ?. Why do the reporters and editors of the news make so many spelling errors and grammar errors? Are there no proof readers any longer? If not, there should be.
