Driver of Fatal Crash on Trial

The driver of a crash that killed a man in Suwannee County back in 2008 is on trial.

Opening arguments began Wednesday for the trial of 29-year-old Donald Davis.

Florida Highway troopers say back on June 30, 2008, 28-year-old Joshua Votano of Lake City was driving southbound on County Road 137 in Suwannee County.

Troopers say Davis was travelling northbound, crossed the
line and struck the front of Votano's car, spinning both vehicles.

Officials say Votano was ejected from the driver's side window and died.

The trial will resume Tuesday.

Umm... What is Davis being charged with? What is the trial trying to establish? This story is very sparse on details. And how can the trial resume on Tuesday when the trial began on Wednesday? Is there a way to get more information?
