The Student Health Center at Valdosta State University is now providing the H1N1 influenza vaccine to high-risk students, faculty and staff.
High-risk patients are those with chronic health conditions, including asthma and diabetes.
Starting tomorrow, the Health Center will vaccinate any other students who'd like to get the vaccine.
Yet, some V.S.U. students are skeptical of it.
"I don't think you should get it because they don't know enough about it. It's too new, said Patrick Carson, a student at Valdosta State University. "They need to find out more about the side effects it has before they give it to people."
Since the vaccine was released to V.S.U.'s Health Center yesterday about 120 shots have been administered.
