4-12-07 - A Tallahassee man is busted Thursday for stealing from his former boss and trying to sell the goods.
Police say 45-year-old Ronald Parrish tossed three duffel bags of stolen tools and construction equipment over the fence next to his Russell Street home after a friend told him the police were on to him.
The items were reported stolen from the Rattler Pointe apartment construction site on Conklin Street last Sunday.
OFC Roney Wyche of the Tallahassee Police Department said, "He was an ex-employee that had left on less than favorable terms. They believed that he was the one who had come and taken the property. As it turned out, that was in fact the case."
All of the tools were returned to the construction site owner. Parrish is charged with possession of stolen property.
