Wakulla County deputies are investigating a report of a suspicious man who offered a child a ride to school.

Deputies received a call Monday morning that a young boy at a bus stop in the Summerwinds Subdivision on Woodville Highway was approached by a white man who asked him if he needed a ride.

Authorities say they've been scanning the area looking for the suspect who was driving a red truck, possibly a Ford, 4 door with tinted windows.

The Sheriff's office has notified all bus drivers to be on their toes.
