A woman and her estranged husband are in the hospital after a double shooting late Saturday night.

It happened at a home in Cottondale, Florida.

Jackson County officers say 45-year-old Felisia Shiver was at the home of 52-year-old Paul Barber when her estranged husband showed up.

Deputies say the husband shot his estranged wife in the head. Mr. Barber then pulled out a shotgun and both men began firing at each other.

The husband was hit with a bullet twice in the torso.

He and Mrs. Shiver are both in the hospital.
