Golf Tournament Dinner Raises Thousands for Local Charity

The two-day event kicked off at the Golden Eagle Country Club.

Organizers say about 400 people attended the "Meet the Pros" dinner party and auction.

Folks shook hands with some famous football players, and kids had the chance to get some gear signed.

This is the fourth year the community has stepped up to bring awareness and support for the Ronald McDonald house in Tallahassee.

Michelle Wilson is the tournament director and said, "It helps a lot. It's been a great experience. Obviously we are going into our fourth year tonight, so the community has welcomed it. We have had people come in from out of town, the NFL players come back that Brad played with over the years, so it's been a great experience."

Organizers estimate about $100,000 will be raised, which all goes directly to Tallahassee's Ronald McDonald House.
