It's called "Cash for Trash," and folks were lined up this morning to take advantage of the program.
The city gave out five dollar coupons to use towards your utility bill in exchange for large or hazardous items that aren't picked up at the curb.
Ken Hart dropped his trash off and said, "You bring your stuff out here you can't put in the garbage, batteries, paint, that sort of thing, so it clears it out of the garage and keeps it out of environment, and they give you five dollars for going to the trouble."
If you have bulky items to get rid of, the city reminds customers that they do pick up bulky items every other week.
