There was hands-on healing at Lake Ella Sunday afternoon.
The Healing Arts Alliance sponsored a spring festival featuring live music, dancing, food and massages.
Vendors set up along the lake, offering folks information on nourishing the body.
Participants say the event is a wonderful way to relax and pamper yourself.
All proceeds of the event benefit the Refugee House, a shelter and counseling service for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence.
Christine Scheu attended the event and said, "It brings awareness to people that there is a problem in the community, and hopefully changes some people's mind about how they view battered woman."
Participants are also giving back by dropping of a canned donation.
This is the fourth year the Healing Arts Alliance held the spring benefit.
