And as the night progressed, the focus of the sting has gone from searching for fugitives to preventing violent crimes.
Our cameras were rolling just moments after a man approached this vehicle to try and sell dope to the driver.
Little did he know, it was an undercover cop.
He was arrested and police continued to search for a second person they believe was involved.
In another incident, Police pulled over this black charger for suspicious activity in a nearby parking lot. The driver consented to a search, but later revoked it.
No arrests were made.
The third incident we caught was after a group of teenage boys were seen kicking and spitting on this white car.
One of the boys, a 13-year-old was detained by the owner of the vehicle until Police arrived.

Operation Home for the Holidays is underway as Tallahassee Police try to catch more than a dozen of the city's most wanted criminals and drug dealers.
Our cameras were rolling for the first arrest Tuesday afternoon. Officers went to Stratford Landing looking for a wanted fugitive, but wound up witnessing a flurry of open air drug sales.
The officers we were tried to pull over one of the suspects as he drove out of the complex and on to Mission Road.
Officers chased the red Toyota through the Boardwalk complex parking lot. The driver bailed out, tossing his FSU jacket on the ground and leaving the car in gear.
Just when the sergeant thought the suspected drug dealer was long gone, he circled back and surprised us all. SGT Mike Abbey ordered him to the ground at gunpoint.
20 year old Ahmad Hinson had four outstanding warrants and will likely face new charges for selling drugs today.
"That's kind of scary. I mean that's really close, like 20 feet from our rooms," said Gary Trevellick as he watched officers place Hinson in the squad car.
"It's kind of weird to think that something like that could happen when we just got home from classes," said David Treat.
Hinson is suspected of selling drugs at the Stratford Landing Apartments on Mission Road. Four other men were arrested there also.
"We found a firearm in his left side, marijuana in his left jacket pocket, a bottle of liquor under his jacket in the sleeve," said Investigator Jason Laursen of the man he arrested. It turns out the gun was stolen from Chattahoochee, he said.
Sergeant Mike Abbey says unfortunatly it shouldn't surprise anyone that these drug sales were going on in broad daylight on a busy street.
In the first two hours, officers had arrested five people and were headed back out to try to find more than a dozen more.

Dumb Move, you should be called "just Dumb".Wouldn't you rather a crook see this and decide not to rob someone than for them not to see this and rob someone? It might be your mother or grandmother who doesn't get hurt during a robbery because of this being on the news.Ever heard of "deterance"?
