Divers in Wakulla County have made a remarkable discovery. While diving near Wakulla Springs, they've located an extensive underground cave.

The manager of the state park says it's unknown where the cave goes headed north, but may connect to a cave in Leon County going south.

If the caves connect, biologists may have a better idea where Wakulla's spring water is flowing from.

Divers are expected to explore even further over the next couple weeks.
