Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office spokesman J.D. Callaway
said authorities believe the body located in the septic tank
Saturday is that of 2-year-old Luis Martinez, but investigators are
waiting on a positive identification from a medical examiner. The
Florida Department of Law Enforcement has canceled its missing
child alert for the toddler, who was last seen Friday.
Callaway said authorities think that the boy fell through a hole
in the septic tank.
The medical examiner will perform an autopsy and determine the
time and cause of death, Callaway said.
More than 100 volunteers joined in the search for the boy
Saturday morning.

when the child went missing , no one thought to look in the hole first?
OMG. The baby was found in an uncovered septic tank??? Why in the heck would such a thing be left uncovered?!?! That poor, poor baby.
fell through a hole in a septic tank ? what the hell is a hole doing exposed in a septic tank ? the owner needs to be SUED and arrested. arrested for involuntary manslaughter and child endangerment. sued for the same plus having a known danger causing death. no way will i ever believe the owner did not know about the open septic and the danger of it having a hole in it. i'm very saddened by the boys life being cut so short. there really was no excuse for it. at the same time even though i know the parents are heartbroken and torn apart, they also should charged with child neglect. they should have been watching the poor child closer. at 2 yrs of age, my children where never allowed out of my sight when outdoors. NO EXCUSE for either !
