It looks like the Homeless Shelter in Tallahassee will finally get funding
that was originally approved more than two years ago.
The City of Tallahassee refused to release the 30-thousand dollars until the Shelter complied with federal guidelines to collect personal data on people who stay at the Shelter.
When the Shelter resisted, it resulted in a stand-off with the city.
But last month, Tallahassee Commissioner Gil Ziffer toured the facility and says it's complying.
Now the Commission has to decide how the money will be allocated.
"The funds could come out of general fund. Another one is through community development block grant. And the third option is a combination of the two," explains Ziffer.
The Tallahassee Commission will decide on where to draw the money from Wednesday afternoon at city hall.
