18-Year-Old Charged With Burglary In Jackson County
Teen charged with burglary and dealing in stolen property in Jackson County.

Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Press Release:
On December 2, 2009, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office was contacted regarding a burglary that occurred at 1159 Edison Avenue, which is located in the southern part of Jackson County.
It was reported that person(s) unknown to the victim had entered into his residence, which is currently under construction, by forcefully opening the rear door to the residence and cutting the locks off of the garage door, where unlawful entry into the residence was gained. Once inside, the suspect(s) unlawfully removed numerous items of value from the home.
The investigation revealed a suspect who, along with two other persons, was identified as selling some of the property belonging to the victim at a business located in Alford, Florida.
The suspect’s name is William R. Brewer of 2528 Park Avenue in Alford.
Brewer is an eighteen-year-old white male.
An extensive search for Brewer was conducted, where he was located by deputies on December 3, 2009, while driving his vehicle.
A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Brewer.
He was arrested without incident and booked into the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await first appearance.
Brewer has been charged with Burglary and Dealing in Stolen Property.
