After 23 years off the air, Leon County School Board meetings will be televised again.
Live coverage will begin at 6 p.m. on School Board meeting nights, and replays of each meeting will air at 7 p.m. on the following Thursday and Saturday.
One area principal says the move back to television is a great idea.
Michelle Gayle, principal at Griffin Middle School, says, "Superintendent Montford, as well as the school board and the leadership team, are very concerned with getting our community involved with the School Board, letting them know the things the schools are doing; the positive things and the issues that come before the board."
You can catch the meetings on Comcast channel 23.
