A Havana woman is taken from her home and is found with knife wounds on her body.

The Gadsden County Sheriff's Office say 18 year old Troumaine Harris took his girlfriend Latoya Maine from her bedroom against her will and forced her out of her house.

They say the two left the area in an unknown direction.

Maine was taken to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital with knife wounds on her body.

The victim's mother says earlier in the week, Harris tried to force a screw driver into Maine's mouth and tried to push it down her throat.

Police are expecting the suspect's parents to bring him to the Sheriff's Office this afternoon.

If you have any information you are asked to call the Gadsden County Sheriff's Office at 627-9233 or Crimestoppers at 850-574-TIPS.
