For the past 15 years, Dan and Fran Collins have transformed their property into their very own Winter Wonderland called "Collins Christmas Corner."

"Putting up the lights is the main thing I like to do all year long. Putting up these lights so people can enjoy it," Dan said.

Hanging out with the Collins every night are two dozen reindeer, about nine snowmen and more than 50 Santa's. There's Santa hanging from a tree, Santa and the Mrs on a swing ,and when Santa wants to have a little fun.. he gets on his seesaw, of course.

"I like to see little kids with a smile on their face. We've had kids come by here and they don't want to leave. that's why I do it," Dan said.

The Collins say seeing the faces of children light up as they play in their yard is a present in itself to their community.

"A little boy and a little girl they come up to the porch and say "these are just wonderful. these lights are so pretty" and it just makes your heart feel good because you can put a little joy in somebodys heart," Fran Collins said.

That joy is about 80,000 lights lit up every night since Thanksgiving. And Dan says the energy bill at the end of the month is no problem.

"It doesnt matter. Long as I can see the smile on the little kids face its worth it to me."

A little light can go a long way, and thanks to the Collins and their Christmas Corner, it's brightened up their entire community.

The Collins say it takes about three to four days to take down the lights, and they'll be taking them down on New Years Day.
