Students will be returning to school during the peak of flu season.

Children have an increased risk of catching the flu during the months of January and February.

But some parents in our area said they are still a little skeptical about getting their children vaccinated.

"There hasn't been a whole lot of testing on the vaccine to prove to us that its gonna be beneficial and not make more problems than there already is," said Tallahassee resident, Sean Campbell.

Health officials say more than 50 million people have been infected with H1N1 in the U.S.

If a person has had H1N1, can they catch it again? And the people I've known who have been diagnosed with it - they don't seem to be getting over it. It keeps coming back in different forms every 2 weeks or so and the problems linger - like the congestion, trouble breathing, fatigue. You think you are getting over it and BOOM!* IT'S BACK. Are there tests to show that it is finally gone - ? In GA the head of the Health Dept there has told doctors in GA not to even bother using the "rapid flu test for influenza A and B" because it is a waste of time and money....it is wrong over 50% of the time and is more harmful than helpful. When you send people home telling them THEY DON'T HAVE IT...and they do, it gives them a false sense of security and often can put the person at a big risk as the stories I'm reading, people can turn sour very fast. From what I've seen and read, this is a DREADFUL FLU! Forget about "frightening the public" - gives us the TRUTH!
