On Tuesday December 15, 2009, at approximately 12:55a.m., an unknown male entered the Microtel Inn and Suites (3216 N. Monroe Street), armed with a handgun and demanded cash from the front desk clerk. The clerk complied and the suspect fled the area in a dark colored midsized SUV, possibly a black 2002-2008 Chevrolet Tahoe with custom rims.

Violent Crime Detectives ask anybody that may recognize the pictured suspect or has any information about this crime to contact the Leon County Sheriff’s Office at (850) 922-3300 or Crime Stoppers at (850) 574-TIPS (8477). Remember, Crime Stoppers does not want your name, just your information. You could be eligible for a reward of up to $1000.

Wow, he's pretty stupid!! Why would you rob a place that takes mostly credit cards?! Hope the thug is caught and put where he belongs!
