It's time to start making those new years resolutions- and one of the most popular resolutions being made this year is to stop smoking.
Like trying to lose weight or starting an exercise program, quitting smoking is easier said than done.
But there are helpful tips that can keep you on track to being tobacco free.
The American Lung Association suggests that you pick a good time to quit- quitting can be harder when you're under a lot of stress. Be aware that smokers have different experiences when they quit, and your experience may be different than someone else's. Make sure to exercise, get plenty of sleep and drink lots of water. Also, don't be afraid to ask your family and friends for help.
