UPDATE at 9:30 p.m. 1-20-10
Tallahassee Fire officials say an ottoman in the living room of the home caught on fire.
Officials say extensive damage was caused to the living room, but was contained within the one room.
One person was home at the time of the fire, but was able to get out of the house safely.

The Tallahassee Police Department confirms a house on Tallahassee's northeast side is on fire. Police and fire are at the home, located at 3708 Mundon Way.
No other details are available at this time. WCTV does have a crew headed out to the scene, and we will bring you more information as soon as it becomes available.
