Free Health Care Training
Workforce Plus in Tallahassee is providing an opportunity to receive free training for those interested in becoming a Pharmacy Technician or Health Information Technician.

Are you interested in pursuing a career in health care? Workforce Plus could help you do just that!
Thanks to a three-hundred-thousand-dollar grant from Workforce Florida, Workforce Plus in Tallahassee is providing an opportunity to receive free training for those interested in becoming a Pharmacy Technician or Health Information Technician.
Employment for both fields is expected to increase through 2016.
"These individuals will be exposed to internship opportunities throughout the training experience and beyond that once they've completed those 12 months set for the certification," says Kimberly Moore of Workforce Plus.
To participate, you must meet income eligibility requirements and be either unemployed, underemployed, or receiving public assistance.

What is "not priveleged"? If you don't have a job and need training to get a job it isn't about priveleged it is about equality for ALL.
I think it is wonderful that workforce is able to help people that are not as privilaged as others. As for driving down the pay and demand...think about what the population and demand is for these fields. If you are good at what you do, you need not worry.
Will Workforce flood the market with pharmacy techs and drive DOWN the pay and demand? Like the over abundance of radiology technology schools in the area (3)
