A man is arrested for trying to serve the wrong type of cocktails at a local bar.
They were Molotov Cocktails; and authorities say the man was trying to burn the place down.
The sign right next to the front door of the Beach Bar on Beach Road in Taylor County says "If you are grouchy, irritable, or just plain mean, there will be a ten dollar charge..."
Well, regulars at the bar say local resident Charles Ward must have been mighty grouchy to throw fire bombs--known as Molotov cocktails--at the bar.
And Ward was charged--with arson.
Bar patron Hank Johnson said, "I don't think he should burn our property down that we come to every day. This is our watering hole; this is our bar. If he can't behave when he does it, sorry, that's what he deserves. He should've been arrested a long time ago."
Fifty-two year-old Ward turned himself in to the Taylor County Jail Monday. But, authorities had been looking for him since the incident happened just before 2 a.m. October 1, 2009.
The Florida Fire Marshal's Office says the fire bombs were made using glass bottles, gasoline, and a cloth wick.
Authorities say Ward had been previously banned from the bar; and say he threw one fire bomb under an employee's vehicle in the parking lot, and a second one hit the front outside wall of the building.
Bar patron Leslie Brooks calls that more than just grouchy, irritable, or mean.
"I've been around crazy people before. I call him crazy for doing that. So, it don't really shock me that much." Said, Brooks.
The fire marshal's office says the fires were put out in time, and say there was no visible damage to the vehicle and that there were only scorch marks on the building.
No one at the bar was hurt.
There is surveillance video at the bar. Investigators say Ward was seen getting out of a black pick-up truck and throwing the fire bombs.
Eyewitness News could not get the surveillance to show because authorities say they can't release it just yet.
A photo of Ward is not yet available because of technical difficulties during the booking photo being sent from the Taylor County Jail.

debra,he's on film.
The man was barred for his violent behavior by the owner but like many drunks they can't accept that. He was trying to kill one of the employee's, that I know very well. The employee doesnt have to look over their shoulder and wait for another attempt on their life now. I think it is about time they arrested this man. They could have had him alongtime ago. He was caught on tape, how could he be innocent. I hope he rots in jail.
