Students from Lowndes High School were introduced to the car named Spirit on Tuesday.
The single passenger vehicle is solar, battery and pedal powered.
Annie Rae is from Lake Park, Georgia and helped design it.
She said it's the only one in the world that uses all three sources.
A man from Maine, along with his students built the vehicle.
More than 1,000 miles have been racked on it driving through places like the Everglades and parts of Maine.
The car maxes out at 32 miles an hour and can go 30 miles on one charge.
The Lowndes students who saw the car will be making their own solar car models in class.
