This Sunday (March 14, 2010), family and friends will come together to celebrate the life of the girl they called "Dee Dee." They describe her as "vivavious" and "bubbly."

The 17-year-old died Tuesday one day after she was ejected from the bus that was taking her and her classmates home from school. The Gadsden County teen was a star player on the school's basketball team and her coach says she was a spirited and talented leader with a bright future.

Knowing the impact she had on her peers, family members knew they would have to find a place that would hold all of the lives she's touched for her memorial service.

Superintendent Reginald James said, ""We're going to support the family 100 percent all the way. I told that to the family, the mother and the father. And they did request to use the gym for their funeral service and they have permission to do that and the full support of our staff in any way they need it."

The viewing will be at 1:00 p.m. and Murray's funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at West Gadsden High School's gym Sunday.

i cannot find word of my own to express to you to show how deeply sorry i am for your mourning. however, in psalms it says," i will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety." she is safe, she and you too shouldn't suffer anymore.

Though I do not know the family I am truly sorry for their lost. I can't answer how they must feel but I no that i'm hurting for them. I will keep them in my prayers day and night and ask God to hover over them and strengthen them where they are weak. My God bless them forever. Clifford
