Tallahassee Police Department Press Release:
Thursday, the Tallahassee Police Department responded to two home invasion robberies.
The first robbery occurred in the 1900 block of Maymeadow Drive at approximately 9:00AM.
The victim explained to the officers that he was outside his home, when a white male suspect surprised him brandishing a firearm.
The victim was forced into his home at gunpoint.
The suspect was accompanied by at least one other accomplice during the robbery.
The victim received minor injures during the robbery and several items of value were taken from the victim, including his 2007 blue Cadillac Escalade bearing Florida Tag Q82BY.
Later, at approximately 3:20PM, the Tallahassee Police Department responded to a second home invasion robbery in the 600 block of Dixie Drive.
During the robbery, two victims were home when three black male suspects forced their way into their home.
At least one of the suspects was armed with a firearm, as they demanded personal property from the victims. The victims were not injured during the robbery and the suspects fled prior to officers arriving.
Investigators continue to follow-up on witness statements and physical evidence in an effort to apprehend the suspects in these cases.
A clear motive for the robberies has not been established, but investigators believe they may have been drug related.
Anyone with information about these crimes is asked to contact the Tallahassee Police Department at (850) 891-4200 or Crime Stoppers at (850) 574-TIPS (8477). Remember, Crime Stoppers does not want your name just your information. You could be eligible for a cash reward.

according to the date and time of this report... get the police to be on Dixie Drive at 3:20 this afternoon and they'll be able to catch the ones that are going to invade!
and if these robbers are caught, they will be back on the streets in 24 hours...our courts are to blame for repeat robberies...the same man will get out of jail and in a week, he will break into somebody else's house and maybe kill them this time....
