A resale shop and autism.

You may not put the two together, but one woman's dream is hoping the duo will be a success.

Lucky Duck Resale For Autism Shop opened up at the first of the month with 100% of the proceeds going to local families with autistic children.

The owner has a passion for helping autistic children because her grandson was diagnosed roughly six years ago and she understands the steep costs associated with treatment.

"I thought if I could collect things for customers resell them, make a little bit of money, then I could help the families. So that's my passion in life, I really want to do this," says the owner Jean Josey.

From clothes, shoes, furniture, children's toys and even prom dresses, the shop is well equipped for all your thrifty needs.

For more details or if you know of a family you'd like to nominate for help you can call 850-562-8353 or email Luckyduck4autism@yahoo.com

The shop is located on North Monroe in the Fort Knox Shopping Center across the street from the new Walmart.

This place is incredible. You can find all sorts of treasures for yourself and help a worthy cause at the same time. The owner of the shop is one of the sweetest people I know. Please visit this place, find a treasure for your home, or just one for your heart.
