The following is a press release from LCSO:

Saturday, March 13 at approximately 2:15 a.m., Leon County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 2421 Jackson Bluff Road (Seminole Suites Apartments) in reference to the report of a burglary of an unoccupied
apartment.

As Deputy Joe LeSerra arrived a Seminole Suites security guard reported three suspects driving a white Ford Crown Victoria had just left the area.

Deputy LeSerra quickly located the suspects driving on Ausley Road, where they soon crashed on Bellevue Way, just east of Ausley
Road. The suspects were not injured and were taken into custody without incident.

The suspects were identified as Fredrick Dixon, Donald Johnson and Marcus Ricketts. Burglary Detectives were called to the scene and during the investigation it was discovered that Dixon drove Ricketts and Johnson to the area of the 2400 block of Jackson Bluff Road for the
purpose of them to commit crimes.

As Ricketts and Johnson lurked about, they found an apartment
unit at Seminole Suites whose occupants were not at home. Ricketts and Johnson called Dixon to the apartment, where they broke in and stole approximately $3,000 worth of property. The stolen property was recovered from the suspect’s crashed vehicle. Ricketts, Dixon and Johnson were arrested and booked into the Leon County Jail.

We will bring you more details as they become available.
