The House Budget Committee on Monday approved healthcare legislation in a 21-16 vote Monday, but two Democrats, including Allen Boyd defected.
Boyd and Representative Chet Edwards of Texas joined Republicans in voting against advancing the budget reconciliation package that will comprise the final version of the Democratic healthcare reform bill. Both also voted against the healthcare bill approved by the House in November.
President Barack Obama and the House Democratic leadership need 216 votes to pass the bill by the end of the week and send it on for final action in the Senate.

I can hear Boyd now..."but I voted against it after I voted for it". Time to go home for good. Long term this is the best thing for republicans, worst thing for Americans.
