Prom Season is right around the corner,
And for the ninth year in a row the Junior League Of Tallahassee is hosting Operation Prom Dress.
This event is for all public high school students who dream about that perfect prom night, but might not be able to afford the perfect dress.
Operation Prom Dress gives girls the opportunity to shop for dresses, shoes and accessories- and this year they're adding an extra bonus.
"We've teamed up with the Oasis Center for Women and Girls, so the girls will not only be able to shop for a dress, but when they come we're going to do a whole girl's seminar where they're going to learn about self confidence and and not only look good in their dress but feel good about themselves in their dress," says Committee Chair Tiffany Vause.
Operation Prom Dress is this Sunday, March 21st at 1:00 at the DoubleTree Hotel in downtown Tallahassee.
If you have any gently worn prom dresses or accessories, they are still taking donations.
You can drop off your donations at the Junior League of Tallahassee on Sixth Avenue in Tallahassee from 10 am - 2 pm.
