Big Rattler 77 is an amateur pornographic video that surfaced recently and suggests that the participants are from a black college in Florida with the colors orange and green.

Although the video never says the students are from FAMU, the University says the damage is done. They first issued a cease and desist for the website showing the video and now they're suing.

Images taken from the video show the people are in a room with green curtains and an orange a green lei.

A still shot from the video shows a FAMU clock on the wall.

Students say they're glad to see action is being taken because the images are embarrassing to their school.

"It's all people were talking about saying of FAMU made a sex tape. FAMU did this and to know that I go here. What are the little kids who want to go here going to think? Oh they're out there making porn and stuff like that," said Jassimine Span, a FAMU student.

Other students are disgusted that some might get a bad impression of college life from videos like Big Rattler 77.

"For the other people, it made it seem like that's all college is, drinking and sex. But it's really not," said Ronquavius Fulton, a FAMU student.

"People ask me what school I go to and that's the first thing they bring up. The sex tape," added Jamal Smith, a FAMU student.

The university has determined the video was not shot on campus and is working to figure out if any of the students involved are registered with the school. At this time, they believe they are not.

The university is unable to comment about the situation because of a lawsuit being filed and multiple calls placed to the university's attorney have not been returned.

We did some investigative research and found pictures taken the day of the sex tape that show the FAMU clock on the wall; however, the album title on facebook says "in Miami". There are other pictures that also suggest the video was not shot in Tallahassee and the participants merely used similar colors. The University of Miami has the same color scheme.

From the wctv article: "Although the video never says the students are from FAMU". This statement is not 100% accurate. The actors in the video falsely state they are FAMU students.
