A Live Oak woman was killed Thursday night when her car collided with a semi-trailer.
The Florida Highway Patrol says 66-year-old Darlene Newton was driving west on Suwannee County Road 136 around 11:00 p.m.
Authorities say her car hit the left side of a semi trailer that was parked across both lanes of the road.
Troopers say the semi was there because driver of the semi was backing up to pull into a private drive.
Newton was pronounced dead at the scene. Charges are pending.
