WHITE SPRINGS –
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park will host the 43rd annual Easter Sunrise Service on Sunday, April 4, 2010 on the greenway between the Museum and Carillon Tower.
Visitors will celebrate the Easter season with an inspirational program of songs and devotionals. Area ministers, choirs and soloists will take part in the annual event. Park gates will open at 6:15 a.m. At 6:45 a.m. there will be an Easter Carillon Concert with Easter services beginning at 7:00 a.m. The event is free and refreshments will be served following the service.
The service is sponsored by the Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park, the Stephen Foster Citizen Support Organization and residents and churches in the tri-county area.
