Press Release from the Leon County Sheriff's Office:

This morning members of the North Florida Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force served a search warrant at 1701 Burgandy Boulevard. Law Enforcement Officers with the Leon County Sheriff's Office, Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) obtained evidence that child pornography was being possessed at this location. The investigation that led to this case was part of Operation Predator, a nationwide ICE initiative to identify, investigate and arrest those who prey on children, including human traffickers, international sex tourists, Internet pornographers, and foreign-national predators whose crimes make them deportable.

During the search of the residence a computer was located which was found to have files containing images of young children engaged in various sexual performance. This investigation determined that Phillip Haynes is a resident at the home, owner of the computer and that he frequently uses the internet to view video and images of children who are being sexually abused.

"Through partnerships like the one we have with the Leon County Sheriff's Office, ICE will continue to vigorously investigate child exploitation cases," said Sue McCormick, ICE special agent in charge of the Office of Investigations in Tampa, which oversees Tallahassee.
Haynes is charged with six (6) counts of Possessing Images of Child Sexual Performance and was booked into the Leon County Jail. Suspected child sexual exploitation or missing children may be reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, an Operation Predator partner, at 1-800-843-5678. http://www.cybertipline.com.
