The governor says after what he saw during George Bush’s campaign swing through northwest Florida this week, he thinks the president has a lot of support in the Sunshine State.
"I have only anecdotal evidence there, I didn’t do a poll there, but about 50,000 people lined the street in the rain and 20,000 plus went to a rally in Panama City waiting in lightning and rain. About 10,000 people showed up in Pensacola that’s a pretty good sign, but no one is suggesting that this isn’t going to be a close race. It will be," says Gov. Bush.
The poll of about 1,000 registered voters has a margin of error of plus or minus three percentage points.
