Tallahassee utility workers are heading over to help restore power to Charlotte County, Florida.
Saturday they were loading up their trucks and heading south. Around 20 utility workers have left the area to offer assistance. It's part of a statewide plan where cities pitch in and help out those hit hardest by Hurricane Charley.
“Basically, it's part of an agreement the City of Tallahassee and all municipalities in Florida have to help each other should they have a catastrophic type situation occur," said Gary Oberschlake, a utilities manager with the City of Tallahassee.
