The Maranatha Seven Day Adventist church hosted its first free community health fair at the North Florida Fair grounds today.
More than 300 people showed up for free health screenings, food, and clothing give-aways.
Organizers say they want everyone, regardless of socioeconomic status, to take care of their overall well-being.
"Whatever we can do to help. We want to be relevant, and we want to be meaningful," said James James, event organizer.
Organizers say the Community Health Fair will become an annual event in May.
