The woman who ran Gov. Jeb Bush's technology office for nearly three years has gone to work for a company she once awarded a $126 million contract.

State auditors later concluded that contract may have been bid illegally.

Kim Bahrami resigned her state position in February and began working last month at BearingPoint.

The Virginia-based technology company is under scrutiny by the state in a review of contract concerns at the technology office and the state's social services agency.

The state technology office is responsible for purchasing and leasing information technology services for state agencies. The office also is supposed to make sure various agencies don't duplicate technology costs and manages the state's website, MyFlorida.com.
