A Tallahassee murder suspect on the run was nabbed in Kansas City, Missouri where he made his first appearance before a judge Saturday morning.
Forty-nine-year-old Yusef Abdul Hakim is accused of gunning down 38-year-old Steven Victor the morning of June 2. Witnesses immediately fingered Hakim, but he quickly disappeared.
His run from the law ended Friday in a Kansas City cemetery as he trimmed the grass. U.S Marshals arrested Hakim. Saturday morning he made his first appearance in a Kansas City courtroom to face a first-degree murder charge.
Hakim signed the necessary papers to be extradited back to Florida where he will face the charge.
