Power Outages In Tallahassee-Update
A tree falls on a power line, knocking out power to over one thousand customers.

Thirteen-thousand seven hundred households are without power: ten-thousand of those are in the Killearn area and three through four-thousand power outages are near Apalachee Parkway and the Capital Circle South East Region including Southwood.
Officials said there are other smaller pockets of outages. We have been told that crew members are on scene and we will bring you more information as it becomes available.

City of Tallahassee officials say all residents in the area of Franklin Blvd and Call Street now have power. It was restored to residents around 6pm Saturday afternoon.
In a separate, unrelated incident, around 2,543 customers lost their power in the area of Mahan Dr and Miccosukee Rd, east of Magnolia Dr to Riggins Rd. Their power went out around 4:13pm and was restored around 5:10pm.

City of Tallahassee officials say crews are still in the vicinity of Franklin Boulevard and Call Street attempting to restore power to about three hundred clients.
The incident happened around 8:25 this morning and folks had to brave sweltering temperatures without air conditioning.
Officials say they are working on cleaning up the debris from the tree, streaming new wires and replacing the utility pole.
Power was expected to be restored to all customers by 5pm but afternoon rainstorms delayed the repairs.

Road also lost power for about an hour in a separate unrelated incident but their electricity has been restored.

The City of Tallahassee is reporting power outages .
Officials say at 8:25 a.m. Saturday, July 31 a tree fell on the power line at Call Street and Franklin Boulevard.
The tree broke the power line pole. Approximately 1, 376 customers lost power.
Power has been restored to around one thousand customers, but as of 12:45 p.m. 300 people still do not have electricity.
Crews are on the scene removing and replacing the broken power line. Officials anticipate having all power restored by 5 p.m.
