While the areas first lashed by Hurricane Frances are now involved in cleanup, the system continues to spread major rain and other problems farther up the state.
The center of what's now Tropical Storm Frances is centered just off the coast south of Tallahassee, but the most serious rain is to the east of center, and another band of heavy rain is moving up from the Gulf near Crystal River.
Farther out, there is also a band with heavy rain swirling up from Sarasota, going across the Orlando area and Daytona to Jacksonville.
The northern half of the peninsula will be seeing rain from Frances most of Monday, along with the Big Bend and the eastern half of the Panhandle.
